On August 29, the GeoWaermeWende project met in Schifferstadt. Beyond digital meetings, this face-to-face meeting enabled direct exchange and presentation of current results. Thanks to all participants for the dedicated meeting and the constructive discussions. Another step for a successful project progress!
In this work package, we are dedicated to promoting public relations and increasing acceptance for cold local heating network (KNWN) projects. Our objective is to use innovative approaches to vividly present the benefits of the KNWN system to the general public.
This work package focuses on the implementation of a real-time connection of the monitoring to the monitoring database of the accompanying research. This should enable efficient data collection and management.
On June 13, experts met at the digital meeting of the GeoWaermeWende project. Goal: To consult and further develop the project from different perspectives. With lively discussions and detailed presentations, the exchange was intense. Thanks to all participants, including the German Heat Pump Association (Bundesverband Wärmepumpe, BWP).
In work package 5, the focus is on the development of advanced modeling, simulation, and computational approaches that enable precise mapping of various aspects of the geothermally fed cold KNWN. The goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the system dynamics and to develop optimized solutions for planning, dimensioning and operation.
In this work package, the focus is on the development of a powerful system configurator that serves as a valuable tool for dimensioning heat grids, heat pumps, and near-surface geothermal systems. This tool supports the preparation of feasibility studies by enabling economic considerations, ecological analyses as well as the consideration of different system variants.
This work package focuses on the development of a comprehensive geodata infrastructure, including a geothermal network information system that acts as a web-based geoportal. This system enables the visualization and integration of various relevant data to support the planning, dimensioning and operation of cold local heating networks (CLHN).
In this work package, the focus is on setting up a comprehensive monitoring system for the cold local heating networks (CLHN) in the Schifferstadt demonstrator. Targeted collection and analysis of measurement data will provide insights into the operation, performance and interactions of the systems involved.
This work package examines the key issues that arise in the planning, permitting, and operation of cold local heating networks (CLHN). The findings of this package are essential to effectively implement these innovative energy systems. The partners involved are working closely together to identify the many challenges and develop solutions.
Stadtwerke Schifferstadt invited to the kick-off of the "GeoWaermeWende" project. With the participation of experts, RWTH and Dr. Loll from PtJ, central topics and work packages were discussed. An exciting project is on the horizon and the participants are looking forward to upcoming challenges and synergies in the cooperation.
